Poetry

Orange

My favourite smell is a freshly peeled orange
My favourite feeling is your mouth on my neck
Your hand between my legs
Your fingertips grazing my skin

Touch me again
And, after, I’ll bring you an orange
And we can suck the sweet nectar together

You’ll tell me it’s your favourite fruit
And I won’t tell you I already knew

The smell of fresh citrus will envelope the room,
Sticking to your fingers and your tongue

Kiss me, wrap me in orange
Peel away my worries
And burn them with cinnamon
Fill my senses until there is only you
